Ruthenium is one of the rarest elements on Earth. The electronics industry requires ruthenium for coating hard drives because it increases storage capacity. In addition, this valuable metal is indispensable as a catalyst in chemical processes such as ammonia synthesis and, together with iridium, in the production of chlorine. Fuel cell technology is considered an area of future application. For this purpose, ruthenium serves as a catalyst alongside platinum for the production of hydrogen through electrolysis.

Why could ruthenium be an interesting investment?

According to market analyses, this raw material will soon become scarce on a global scale, and China will significantly reduce its exports.
It is important to bear in mind the growing industrial consumption resulting from the energy transition, which, especially in the long term, should lead to an increase in raw material prices.

Goods included in the so-called unsorted gold and silver may be an exception. The choice of bar manufacturer is made at random at the order fulfillment stage and depends on the Company's current stock levels.
