I have already shownnecklines that look good with a necklace and necklines that should never be worn with a necklace. There are also necklines that look great with both a necklace and earrings. Neckline types such as:
A Spanish neckline, i.e., a neckline that exposes the shoulders, looks great with a short necklace that fits snugly around the neck (e.g., a choker), a long necklace, or eye-catching earrings. If the neckline fabric is ruffled, do not wear a long necklace, as it will not drape nicely over the fabric.
An exceptionally sexy wide V-neckline widens and emphasizes the shoulders and beautifully exposes the bust and neck. It looks best with a relatively short, triangular necklace or long earrings. It can also be combined with a short necklace that fits snugly around the neck.
I have already discussed the corset neckline. It looks great with almost any necklace. It also looks great without one. If you decide not to wear a necklace, be sure to wear long, eye-catching earrings.
The square neckline has also already been discussed. The square neckline is best paired with a very short necklace that fits snugly around the neck or a short, triangular necklace. You can also skip the necklace and wear earrings instead.
All of the necklines mentioned above look great with both necklaces and earrings. If you decide to skip the necklace, wear earrings, and if you wear earrings, skip the necklace. Except for very formal occasions (when wearing an evening gown), it is better to choose one distinctive accessory near the face.
