The Mint is pleased to present the Canadian Maple Leaf MapleGram – 25 one-gram Canadian Maple Leaf gold coins, enclosed in an elegant protective card that also serves as a certificate with a unique serial number for each coin.
The reverse of each coin features a maple leaf and the fineness mark, along with the inscriptions "Fine Gold 1g or pur" and "Canada." The obverse features a portrait of Elizabeth II surrounded by the denomination and date of issue. The gram gold coins are therefore identical to the larger versions of the famous Canadian Maple Leaf.
This investment product is ideally suited to the needs of those who value liquidity in the exchange of gold on the precious metals market and the divisibility of capital invested in this precious metal. Each coin, together with its packaging, can be separated from the whole and resold anywhere in the world without losing its investment value, or given to a loved one as a gift for a special occasion.
The Royal Canadian Mint was officially opened in 1908 by Governor General Earl Grey, who struck the first fifty-cent coin produced in Canada. The creation of the Royal Mint coincided with the gold rush in the Yukon and British Columbia, which generated the need to open a refinery for the extracted metal. Construction was completed in 1911, and twenty years later, the Mint building and the surrounding land were completely transferred to Canadian ownership.

Goods included in the so-called unsorted gold and silver may be an exception. The choice of bar manufacturer is made at random at the order fulfillment stage and depends on the Company's current stock levels.
