Silver collector coin History of the Złoty: 10 zł from 1932 (Woman's Head) is a unique coin issued by the National Bank of Poland in 2006. It is the third issue in the highly regarded "History of the Złoty" series, which aims to document key moments in the history of the Polish monetary system. This coin refers to one of the most beautiful designs in the history of Polish numismatics – the famous 10 złoty coin from the interwar period.
Exceptional collector's and historical value
The central point of the reverse is the image of a woman's head in a wreath, modeled on Antoni Madeyski's 1932 design. This figure, often identified with the Polish diaspora or Queen Jadwiga, has become an icon of Polish banknote design. An additional element decorating the reverse are four peacock feathers placed at the bottom, which lend elegance to the composition. The obverse of the coin combines tradition with modernity, presenting a white eagle against the background of a stylized image of the operating room of the National Bank of Poland on Bielańska Street in Warsaw.
The coin's investment potential
Purchasing coins from the "History of the Złoty" series is an excellent way to diversify your investment portfolio. Limited edition silver collector coins from the National Bank of Poland are highly resistant to market fluctuations and tend to increase in collector's value over time. The combination of high-purity metal (925), precise mirror stamping, and deep historical context makes this product desirable for both numismatists and those investing in precious metals. The aesthetics of the design and the reference to the legendary coin from the Second Polish Republic enhance the prestige of this asset.
