SMOKY QUARTZ
If you like brown stones, quartz and smoky quartz will be ideal. Smoky quartz comes in various shades, from beige, through brown, to almost black. In jewelry, smoky quartz with a beautiful, dark, deep brown color is most commonly used.
TIGER'S EYE
Another brown variety of quartz is tiger's eye. The name comes from the shimmering stripe that moves across the surface of the stone, which can be seen when turning the stone in your hand. This stripe makes the stone look like a tiger's eye. The stone is opaque.
