Prezentowana moneta należy do popularnej serii Bestie Królowej, której producentem jest brytyjska mennica The Royal Mint. Wykonana została z czystego srebra najwyższej próby czterech dziewiątek.
Srebrna moneta Biały Chart z Richmond to dziesiąta i zarazem ostatnia z kolekcji Bestie Królowej. Na wcześniejszych okazach przedstawiono: Lwa Anglii, Gryfa Edwarda III, Jednorożca Szkocji, Czerwonego Smoka Walii, Czarnego Byka z Clarence, Sokoła Plantagenetów, Yale Beaufortów, Białego Lwa Mortimerów i Białego Konia Hanoveru.
Warto dodać, że biały chart używany był przez potomków Edwarda III jako odznaka i stał się on blisko związany z rodem Lancaster, a następnie przeszedł do rodziny Tudorów. Chart kojarzony jest z cechami, takimi jak sprawność, a także wierność i lojalność.
Inspiracją do stworzenia serii była koronacja Królowej Elżbiety II w 1953 roku. Wówczas majestatyczne posągi 10 bestii strzegło wejścia do Opactwa Westminsterskiego. Na rewersie, zaprojektowanym przez Jody’ego Clarka, znajduje się wizerunek Białego Charta z Richmond, wokół wygrawerowano podpis „White Greyhound of Richmond”, a także podano informacje o wadze i próbie srebra oraz roku bicia: 2 oz Fine Silver 999.9”.
Awers przedstawia wizerunek profilowy Jej Królewskiej Mości Królowej Elżbiety II wraz z napisem „ELIZABETH II D. G. REG. F. D.” i nominał „5 POUDNS”.
