Product description
The Kamasutra IV silver coin was issued in 2026 as the fourth and final installment of the “Moments of Love” collection. Crafted from one ounce of 999-fine silver, it draws on an ancient Indian tradition depicting love, intimacy, and harmony between two people. The collectible nature of the issue is emphasized by the Antique Finish and the use of digital printing, digital gilding, and selective polishing. The combination of various decorative techniques gives the design a distinctive, artistic character. The mintage, limited to 1,000 pieces, underscores the coin’s exclusive nature.
Appearance of the coin
The coin features a rich, decorative design inspired by Indian art and ornamentation. The reverse of the coin depicts a couple in an intimate embrace, surrounded by a richly decorated ornament. The silvery figures contrast with the gilded background, which is enhanced by turquoise floral accents, giving the whole design an oriental, decorative character.
The obverse catches the eye with its exceptionally original composition of two profiles—a woman’s and a man’s—facing each other. Their faces almost touch, and the space between them is filled with an intricate, symmetrical ornament. The design as a whole emphasizes the coin’s central theme—the closeness, passion, and harmony between two people.
Historical overview
The Kamasutra IV coin concludes the four-part “Moments of Love – Kama Sutra” series, whose individual issues are inspired by the ancient Indian text dedicated to relationships, love, and harmony. The first two coins, each weighing one ounce, were issued in 2025, while the third and fourth coins were issued in 2026.
This final issue continues the collection’s signature blend of traditional Indian aesthetics and modern minting techniques. Its limited mintage and the fact that it concludes the four-part series further underscore its significance within the entire collection.
