The silver EGG EASTER EGG coin is the fifth installment in the Canadian Royal Mint's extraordinary series of decorated Easter eggs. The reverse side of the coin was designed by Dave Melnychuk, whose initials can be seen on the Easter egg. The colorful decorations on the reverse side are symbolic. The obverse of the coin was designed by Susanna Blunt. It features an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. The inscription Elizabeth II D.G. REGINA surrounds the portrait. In addition, the coin's face value (20 Canadian dollars) is also indicated.
