There are too many to count. Some are very simple, some are fancy. The simple ones are the perfect base for pendants. The more decorative ones look best on their own. Which one to choose?
Simple, minimalist chains look best with pendants. If you want to buy a chain to wear with a pendant, the best and most versatile weave is a cable chain, also known as a snake chain. Cable chains are delicate, feminine, and subtle, and most importantly, they go with almost any pendant. Cube, anchor, rolo, or cord chains also look good with pendants, but they will not suit every pendant.

CHAINS WITHOUT PENDANTS
Delicate, minimalist chains such as rope or cube chains are a great backdrop for pendants, but they don't look very impressive on their own. If you want a chain that you can wear without additional decorations, choose one that is decorative in itself. There is a huge selection of such chains. Gucci, Mona Lisa, Singapore, foxtail, and Byzantine are just some of the possibilities. The aforementioned cord also looks great without a pendant.
These chains are very decorative and feminine. However, if you prefer more bold accessories with a slightly masculine character, choose a thicker chain with a curb, figaro, or even anchor or rolo link. These chains are also ideal for men.

If you are unsure about which chain length is best for you, we explain this issue in this post.
