Are you looking for jewelry with pink gemstones? It's not that easy. You can, of course, opt for rhodolite or pink pearls, but what if you're looking for peach-colored jewelry, for example? Here are our suggestions for pink stones.
RODOLITE AND RHODONITE
Rhodolite (not to be confused with rhodonite) is the most popular pink stone used in jewelry. Rhodonite is a variety of garnet, a mixture of two stones from this group (almandine and pyrope). In jewelry, rhodolite is most often used in a dark pink color, which is a combination of pink, red, and purple. Rhodonite, on the other hand, is usually opaque, reddish-pink with white and black inclusions. It is rarely used in jewelry production.
RUBIN
We recently wrote about rubies. Rubies are primarily associated with the color blood red, but they can also be pink. Along with diamonds, emeralds, and sapphires, rubies are the most valuable stones in jewelry.
PEARL
Pearls are an excellent choice for lovers of classic pink jewelry. Classic pearls are white and perfectly round, but pink pearls are also very popular. We have written more about pearls here.
ZIRCON
Another stone that can be pink is zircon. It should not be confused with zirconia. Zircon is a natural stone, while zirconia is synthetic. Zircons come in a variety of colors, from yellow, orange, pink, red, green, purple, blue, brown, gray, and even black.
KUNZYT
Kunzite is also a very pretty pink stone. Kunzite can be pink, purple-pink, or completely purple. Unfortunately, it is delicate and prone to damage.
MORGANITE, OR PINK BERYL
Morganite, or pink beryl, is a great choice for those who love warm shades of pink. Morganite can be pink, peach, or dark pink. Light morganites with a warm, peachy hue are particularly charming.
QUARTZ
Pink quartz is a choice we simply had to include in this list. Quartz is relatively inexpensive and has a beautiful light pink hue. There are also varieties with deep pink and pink-red colors.
