Wyjątkowa, kolekcjonerska moneta wyemitowana przez Narodowy Bank Polski, dla upamiętnienia 25. rocznicy męczeńskiej śmierci ks. Jerzego Popiełuszki, kapelana warszawskiej „Solidarności”, obrońcy praw człowieka w PRL, zamordowanego w 1984 roku.
Ta moneta ma wartość nominalną 37 złotych, co symbolizuje lata życia duchownego. Została wydana w 2009 roku ze złota próby 900 o wadze 1,70 grama.
Złota moneta, bita stemplem lustrzanym z gładkim rantem, jest starannie zapakowana w oryginalne, eleganckie etui NBP wraz z certyfikatem.
