In October, gold lost 3.5% of its value and reached a price of $1,710 per ounce. Unfortunately, the metal failed to break through the $1,800 per ounce threshold, which currently represents a significant resistance level. At the same time, however, a significant level of support formed at $1,700 per ounce, which halted the downward correction. For Polish investors, gold prices fell slightly more due to a slight strengthening of the zloty, with a change of -3.8%.
