Of course she can. It's time to dispel the myth of grandmothers. Today's grandmothers are not just nice old ladies spending their evenings in a rocking chair with a cat on their lap. They are often very active women, both privately and professionally. They work, pursue careers, and travel the world. Stereotypical old lady jewelry is not for them.

A man can wear the same suit his entire life, but it is women who are in the privileged position of being able to wear whatever jewelry they want for their entire lives. While even a very mature woman can wear a bracelet with beads and charms, a man of advanced age is unlikely to wear beads or pierce his ears (unless our grandfather still rides a Harley and has remained faithful to the image of a liberated rocker).
