New Year's Eve is fast approaching, and with it comes New Year's Eve celebrations – a night full of champagne and fireworks. It is also a night of sparkling jewelry, glitter, and shiny fabrics, as women especially like to wear outfits that shimmer in the light on New Year's Eve. New Year's Eve is the perfect occasion to wear impressive evening jewelry: long earrings, a beautiful necklace, a diamond bracelet, an eye-catching cocktail ring or a sparkling hair clip.
NEW YEAR'S EVE BALL
Depending on the nature of the New Year's Eve party, we will of course choose different jewelry, but one thing remains the same: New Year's Eve jewelry can sparkle and there can be a lot of it. If we are going to a New Year's Eve ball in the strict sense of the word (the invitation specifies that white tie attire is required), jewelry made of precious metals, with diamonds or other precious stones, will be most appropriate. Pearls will also be an excellent choice. Although today's trends recommend moderation in the choice of jewelry, you can wear earrings, a necklace, a bracelet, and a ring with your ball gown, and it will not be excessive. Your hair can be adorned with a richly decorated hair clip or tiara.
A SOPHISTICATED RECEPTION
If you are going to a party that requires a long evening gown ( black tie attire is required), diamond and gemstone jewelry will also be most appropriate, but there should be slightly less of it (preferably two or three striking pieces). Long earrings go beautifully with a dress, and can be complemented with a bracelet and ring. A large necklace usually looks best without earrings, with a stately bracelet or ring. We can also opt for a sparkling brooch, but then we should forego other jewelry, preferably earrings or a necklace, which, like the brooch, are close to the face.
HAVING FUN WITH FRIENDS
If we are going to a party at a restaurant, club, or a friend's house, we usually choose a cocktail dress. Both jewelry with precious stones and without stones goes well with a cocktail dress. However, remember that we are talking about New Year's Eve, so it is worth going for something sparkly. Long diamond earrings are always a good choice for the evening, but if you want to wear a necklace, it is best to skip the earrings.
