We are changing for our customers

The turn of the year was extremely intense at the Mint, and this was not only due to the very high interest in gold on the part of our customers. This period coincided with a key moment in the implementation of a large project, namely the launch of a new ERP IT system for comprehensive management of the organization.

This is a very important change for the Company's current operations, and thus for its customers—the new software means a new, higher level of shopping comfort.

The new ERP system is a milestone for the further development of Mennica Skarbowa. It is one of the measures that will improve the Company's business efficiency in the long term and enable further sales growth, thus allowing us to achieve even better results, says Jarosław Żołędowski, President of Mennica Skarbowa.

Why a new ERP system?

An innovative ERP system brings changes in many areas, and thus a number of benefits for the current operations of the Company and its customers. It ensures the highest level of accounting system and enables comprehensive sales and warehouse management. It will be possible to shorten processes and increase the efficiency of individual departments of the company. The result will also be a shortening of the inventory turnover cycle, which will translate into a decrease in financial costs, improved liquidity and profitability, and faster deliveries to customers. The sales process, both in the online store and in brick-and-mortar stores, will be streamlined. Shopping will therefore become even more convenient for our customers.

Another major advantage of this solution is the automation of some processes, which translates into increased security, one of the most important aspects of customer service, while also reducing back-office costs.

Increased efficiency also opens up opportunities for further development of the sales network, and thus for increasing market share in gold.

A step towards the Warsaw Stock Exchange

From the very beginning, as soon as we started talking about implementation, we emphasized that this is a key step towards moving to the main trading floor of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. That is why this task is a priority for the management board and the entire team. The current financial year is a period of testing the new solution, and thus also of preparing for the transition to the main trading floor of the WSE.
